Fact!
Exactly. So let’s look at this for what it is. There’s a new coach coming in. I don’t know the guy but from reading here he’s been promoted from a Ranger select team. Fair enough… there are good coaches in select. But when you try to then bring your select style to A or above that’s where things are going to go sideways. Sounds like the team will go through another rebuild… and then to only have one practice per week … and with a skills guy … you might as well piss your ‘great deal’ of $3,500 away. And to compare VRE here is like comparing apples to oranges.I think it’s a mistake for VRE to go to one practice but at least this is an established team that has done well the last few seasons without much player turnover. That said, look for VRE to fall back to mid pack in that division if that’s the plan.

TE, Attack and Sharks seem to have normal people coaching. I’m not including VP and VR because no one actually believes they’ll improve next season. Avs team is full.
Someone speaking truth on here.

Many teams move to 1 practice/week in U16 with school becoming more important. This is not an anomoly.

I think the Rangers are onto something here. They’ve got nothing to lose and they seem to be garnering a lot of attention with their cheap budget and one practice. Interesting to see how this turns out.

This is true, school and other sports take up time. If you need more than one practice a week then maybe you should reevaluate your team choices. The Rangers could have 7 practice a week and still be sh!t.

There's definitely a "Make the Rangers Great Again” movement that seems to be going on here. Maybe worthwhile to check it out!

Kool-aid drinking Ranger parents/coaches posting nonsense. Last I checked there's more than enough time in the week for lots of physical activity (yes lots of hockey) and lots of school ... but you do you and enjoy your 1 or 2 win season next year ... all for the low low price of $3,500.

What’s the excuse… for teams this past season who practiced twice weekly and finished not sooooo great landing 5/6/7 placements in the loop paying 5-6k dollars plus G player fee$.

Sure Rangers parent. Guess it's all a matter of perspective. The Attack had a 13 win season, competed in most games and made the playoffs. So if you are happy and your boy is happy to win 1 game and get their asses handed to them every game then sure go for it ... again for the discounted price of $3,500. Why even play A hockey then with this type of mindset ... you might as well go back to select or houseleague. Wait ... yea forgot ... this is probably the former select coach and new Rangers A coach posting here ...or one of the select players coming up to the Rangers team next year.

If my kid was looking to join VR I would question why it costs so much to get so little. Something doesn’t add up.
