Another example of parent coaching gone wrong. Top kids gone for U16.
JB is clueless, he can't wake up. He's a pencil pusher, a bean counter, not an operational hockey guy. He worked in marketing and special events for the OHL, he's never been a coach or GM. He did a great job at promotions and delivering speeches on behalf of the league, but that doesn't mean he knows how to coach. People get those things confused. He was recognized by the Hockey News 10 years ago when he was an up and coming financial guy with the league. Long time ago.

Noticed that D list that was posted. Some great kids and some that don't belong and some missed. Any coach can hide a weak D with high end F everyone knows it. 74 is a very good D but easily replaceable. JRC needs to keep up with VK now that's it. TM needs to improve that 3rd line it's simply not acceptable for U15.

You guys need to chill and stop worrying about being on a top team for the OHL draft. Yes it’s true that if you are on a top team you will likely be drafted, but does it really matter if you athlete was just dragged along? They will only fizzle out in junior, which most kids do!

Alternately build an athlete that can shine on any team, and doesn’t require support from other top layers. Build an athlete that is resilient, trains harder than others, and fosters a creative play making mentality. If they have the genes for speed, size and skillful coordination, the the mind will be the differentiator at the elite level! This is hard to do when you coddle their development pathway.

Great post and the very foundation of my beliefs and the recommendations by others that have been their and done that. Problem is daddy still needs his ego stroked and mommy likes to wear the JRC hat lol

Translation = your kid isn't good enough to make a top team.

You clowns have no idea how physiological or sport specific development foundations work. Thanks for the laughs!

Actually you are very wrong, you just sound like a frustrated hockey dad that played select level. Give me a ring when your kid fizzles out like you!

Top parent athletes produce top kid athletes...b/c they get it and have the genes! End of story!

With so many changes, will any of the G non playoff teams be a playoff team next year? And which team will fall out of the playoff race?

I’m not saying he’s a top kid. This is the start of a mass exodus from TM. JB making too many decisions that onky benefit his kid and his buddies kids. It’s so obvious from an outsider looking in. VK and JRC waiting for the big names to drop.
