Round 1:
TRT & MI get the by.
FH vs NT - FH wins, but it won't be easy.
NYK vs SYB - SYB wins, they have been playing good lately.
Round 2:
TRT vs SYB - TRT wins easily.
MI vs FH - MI takes it in a tough battle.
Round 3:
TRT vs MI - TRT takes it and wins the East. Sorry, no upsets this year.
GTHL Final:
TRT vs VR - TRT wins it all.

NYK is the playoff team whereas TRT is always regular season team for past three seasons.

Looking back and this chap was the closest. Had all the right teams in 1 to 4 and 5 to 8 just all in the wrong order. So close.

TRT - Tops in the East - always a contender in the regular season but fail in the playoffs. Can they break the curse this year?
MI - Better results than expected from most. Except their families who thought they would run away with the division, so total failure in their eyes.
FH - Great year outside the G - total sinking ship from mid-December in the G. Can't score and need their Goalie to stand on his head for a chance.
NYK - Expected better this year after the great playoff run last year. Will need to double shift their 3 top guys to have any playoff run this year.
SYB - Should have had a better season with the skaters they have, maybe its coaching? Either way, they will play the trap again all playoffs and if the NYK can figure it out their season will end soon.
NT - Played some great games (beating FH and TRT) but then played some stinkers. They do play physical and that will give them a good chance against FH in round one but they will need to show up for every game.
EE- Coach wasn't given opportunity to pick his team. Was announced late, the prior coach selected the team for him. Hopefully he has some say for next year and can turn this program around.
SIR - Need total rebuild. Enough said.
