GT Caps did the exact same thing with Reps drop downs. Went from a 4th place team in the West to winning it all.
Spring Tournament NT almost beat MM, lost in overtime....so that shows 2 things.
1. good AA teams can compete with low end AAA Teams
2. NT is the dark horse to win the East. Better than people predict
It wasn't an NT team. Two NT kids that left plus LF kid the good knights D along with two from the west. One TRT kid it was a mixed bag but they did well missed the LF goalie in the final.
I saw a lot of NT red helmut's on that team. Regardless the team they faced was all AAA kids from MM, NAT & RW and the AA dominated most of the game. If I was the parent on the AAA team I'd be sweating. What will happen when they face the TM, VK, NYR, DMF...If i was the coach of the MM and Nats I would be second guessing my selections.

don't forget the go ahead goal as well to make it 4-3...and you think he should be in AAA with TYN??

ML did you get your little to wear his Toronto Elite gear at tryouts? Isn't it getting small on him? Got you it makes look bigger. Does that look help him look better at playing hockey? TR is in for a surprise.

it's one thing to wear a hockey schools practice jersey, but to wear the whole uniform, helmut, pants, gloves, socks and games jersey for tryout skates is a bit much.
Oh absolutely—because nothing screams "development" like forcing parents to drop another $300 so their kid can match perfectly for six loosely reffed games and a pizza party.
