Cobras over Muskoka. You won’t find much of hockey kids in Muskoka. Cobras will be more competitive but do your research.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 10:55 amI’ll also add, in my opinion, he would probably make T2 cobras, however I’m unsure about going that route due to things I’ve heard about the organization. FYI - several kids from last years T2 cobras were signed into AAA.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 10:38 amAs nice as possible, stop being delusional if those are your sons options he is not ready for AAA, let him develop in AA till he’s ready. There is absolutely nothing wrong with thatGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 10:12 am Asking for opinion:
With goal of playing 2017 AAA for North Central Predators - would it be best to play for Muskoka North Stars T2 next season (not a very good Klevr team this year) or U9MD in Orillia?
2017 AAA

Re: 2017 AAA
If your kid is good, he will get noticed. I wouldn't worry about where he plays in regards to that. Full ice hockey is better than half ice for development. You can disagree if you want but the numbers don't lie. AAA teams for U10 2015, and 2016s will be 90% KSL.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 11:44 amCobras over Muskoka. Purple cobras and RWood is a dumpster fire. Stay away from them. God awful human.
If your kid is good enough, and you really want to increase your odds, get involved with good Spring programs this year. See if you can get on a couple different teams for a tournament or two. The more connections you make, the more top of mind you will be, the more offers you will get. Lots of offers coming for kids in rural areas because they made the effort to hop onto teams like OHP, Everest, Bulldogs, etc. Look for teams that a coach of a Current KSL team is the coach. Things like that.
good luck. Don't be a prick, and don't complain to coaches (no matter how correct you might be).

Re: 2017 AAA
Anyone know who will be coaching the Rebels for this age group. Two different coaches have told me they have the team which I find concerning.
