Niagara Icedogs goalie Owen Flores faced a barrage of 57 shots, stopping 54, in their win against North Bay. Is this sustainable goaltending or are the Icedogs playing with fire? At what point does a goalie facing that many shots become a detriment, even in a win? Your thoughts?
Also, another multi-goal game for Windsor Spitfires forward AJ Spellacy. Is he a dark horse candidate for OHL scoring leader by season's end? I'm calling it now, he'll be top 5. Prove me wrong.
Finally, overtime games are always exciting, but are we seeing too many close games in the OHL this year? Does parity reign supreme or is there another factor at play? Is it good for the league, or does it suggest something about the overall level of competition?
