GTHL statement re March 2nd meeting

What will happen when hockey is played by all other races? What is being Canadian mean? I guess peameal bacon and poutine. White ppls have no culture. About to lose hockey soon.

GTHL too diluted already. Like G said...buy a team. Good for the G teams to be thinking about ALL the AAA level kids. If you can't afford a to buy a team sponsor ALL under-privaledged kids at young age to get to AAA level. Lots of great diversity in GTA & the G already. Coaches are welcoming of TALENT.

Just hold the line that the new AAA club doesn’t make sense from a sporting perspective, which is true, and don’t fall into the race trap.

How do you buy a non profit? Can the Gthl explain that question? There seems to be something wrong with the Gthl and this is not heading in the right direction.

Well when I look at my kid's AAA team photo it's already really diverse without even trying. That includes Coaching staff too. Didn't really give it much thought till now. I guess my biracial son made it off his merits.

My 10 and 12 year olds didnt know what n@@@r meant or was until they hewrd it in music. They didny know that trans people were ridiculed or treated poorly u til the saw protests.....

My point is that all of this awarness is also accidentally growing the si.ple existence of the issues.

If we just told our kids lots of people are different for a lot of reason, and none are better tham the other, we would be fine.

Over-bandwidth for these issues is growing the problem too. My kids for 1 didnt have a clue that anyone should think of any of this stuff until the "activist" style groups gave the problem more airtime than the solution. Now my kids wonder if they are weird for not giving a shit about other people being different. They now think they need to have an opinion on it because its in their face constantly.My experience.
