Is the OHL’s 3-game suspension for Ethan Martin after his hit on Carson Campbell enough? The article calls it a bone-crushing blow and Campbell is out indefinitely with a head injury. While there’s talk of no intent to injure, shouldn’t player safety be paramount? Is this setting the right precedent? What kind of message does this send to younger players coming up through the ranks? Three games seems light considering the potential long-term consequences for Campbell.
