Windsor Spitfires: Going for it All or Just Tinkering?
The Windsor Spitfires have been busy wheeling and dealing at the OHL trade deadline. They've brought in some experience and some youth, but does it really move the needle? Is this a team that can legitimately challenge London, or are they just hoping for a deep playoff run? The additions of Kennedy and McNamara certainly add some veteran presence, but are they enough to offset losing a young player like Martin? Costello is an interesting prospect, but is he ready to contribute at the OHL level?
Bowler says the team is better today than a week ago. I'm not so sure. I think they're gambling on potential rather than proven talent. What do you all think? Are the Spitfires true contenders, or are they just pretending? Is this a smart rebuild, or are they mortgaging the future for a short-term gain? Let's hear your takes! I predict they won't make it past the second round. Prove me wrong, Spitfires fans!
