guys, move on. we get it. he's going to get the team again next year, just move your kid to king city - That seems to be the destination for most.
I prefer Richmond Hill because they have non-parent coaches for their AA teams.
That's a huge selling point
Is it?

How much extra cost is it directly passed to each kid to have the non-parent coach?
Also, does that non-parent coach have a paid skill sessions business or something similar? Because if they do, wait until the kids that pay for that get special treatment, instead of just the one coaches son.
It costs about $1000 per player for a paid coach. Lots of good ones, lots of bad ones. Unfortunately Aurora won’t attract any decent ones because the market just got more competitive and they won’t want to sully their name by the antics of CS as his crew of misfit morons.
You make some solid points. I think there are both good and bad coaches in both categories (parent / non parent) the bigger problem is the AMHA doesn’t use them. I’m sure Aurora has some good coaches, just the ones we’ve had to deal with have been terrible.
Once the tryouts are over, I hope no one comes here to complain. You have other options.

All these Mike haters make me sick. He never intended to coach AA but stepped up as a favour because he knows his child would actually prefer playing in a lower tier. He’s making significant sacrifices for this.

Can confirm. The team is playing in the OHF finals solely because AMHA begged him to.

Lots of talk around hosting a U15 elite tournament, the level of Marlboros Christmas event or The Brick in Edmonton. Aurora going to build of OHFs into a tournament destination. You hearing that ?

LMFAO sure keep telling yourself that. You're so disillusioned. Is it a favour the way he keeps treating his #2 goalie?? Was it a favour when he showed the entire dressing a video of kids playing pond hockey on a snow day and called them selfish, and benched those kids?... a video by the way he had no business taking of other peoples children. Was it a favour when he ridiculed ONE player after a silver stick silver medal to the point that child wanted to quit hockey? Was it a favour when he left a child crying on the bench, and wouldn't allow another coach to console him?? DO THOSE SOUND LIKE FAVOURS TO YOU? The man is control freak and treats children like pawns and their parents worse.

I'm sure the parent's of the child he FORCED to play on his team instead of allowing him to go play A felt like MM was doing them a favour too.

ZERO chance!!! FYI elite tournaments only happen in the off season and are geared to the best AAA kids, the Marlies Christmas classic is a very good tournament especially at the U16 level but is in no way considered "elite"

Where could Aurora / AMHA fit in around 'Elite' tournaments?
