New coach taking over EE AA team. He has a draw from kids from Hyperfit. They had a skate last night. Lots of kids and good talent. SIR and FH will be fighting it out in the basements next season

Can you coach both a AAA team and a AA team? How was he with the MM?

I heard a couple of the NYK better players are leaving going to other AA teams. Parents frustrated with the lack of skill there. Kid is getting frustrated. I don't blame them.

Who is getting cut at NYK?

I reached out to the coach, my kid plays A but could have played for SIR, FH, or EE.

He said there are no changes being made unless players move up and isn’t running skates or recruiting until the season is over.

There's alot of AA players that can be switched with A players. Highly interchangeable, especially small kids. Bigger kids have a better shot next season

EE will be a powerhouse next season. They're going to cut the kids that came up from A except the tall kid and there's 5 kids and goalie coming from an OMHA AAA team now that borders are open. Some really big bodies, they physically will dominate for sure. Very impressed with what I saw at the skate.

Delusional. Next season will be no different, they'll try to build around their core which are the coaches kids who really should be in select.

I disagree, I saw the players at the skate and there was a massive upgrade at every position. I would say the skilled players were a little small, but small in AA works better than in AAA so makes sense if they are moving from a AAA team.
Coach doesn't have a kid on the team that should be in A

I heard about this forum chat has erupted of late....It seems there is few teams that are easy targets. Maybe because of the obnoxious parent group, or mis-management of kids or recruitment practices. I feel for the NYK coach. A lot of these comments are harsh but there is truth to them. Trust me I was a coach once and I went down the rabbit hole. NYK do yourself a favor, have a meeting with your parent group, because even though they say they don't read it, they're reading it. Doubt gets in the their head and you will have a mass exit next year. Chop the 3-4 worst players every year and upgrade and your captain should be one of best players. free advise if I will out myself by giving my record coaching minor hockey, I might of coached you that's why I am posting, pulling at my heart strings
