The board won't give it a shit to families. I can hear they are yelling screw you.
We are the Board's customers, you are in business to service customers or support the service to customers. Families are really all that matter. Everything needs to be crystal clear as we enter Open Borders.
With open borders, they should care. But they are dinosaurs.
They have never cared.. they never will care. They are of the mindset that even if they lose a few players, they will attract many many more. The board members really do believe that Aurora is a top class hockey town.
Apparently not only do they not care about the parents and children, but they don't care about the OHF rules about tampering either. According to the pres. It's all just bolstering and hot air.
The bottom line is AMHA wants to be the first choice for anyone wanting to play rep level hockey (A/AA) if you live North of Vaughan and South of Barrie. Tigers will be your first choice.
Is that why they blatantly lied on their post? affiliations with elite level training?? WHO?? state of the art video analyses room?? WHERE?? the AMHA is run by a bunch of idiots that think they can lie their way through life. It's actually quite pathetic.

Aurora has hired a team of skating coaches with experience in elite kinetic energy expulsion technology relating to hockey. It’s not a matter of if Aurora becomes a hockey powerhouse it’s when.

Kidding, it’s a shit show of lies and cliques. I hope no family earnestly comes here in the hopes of a better hockey program. It’s also incredibly expensive and they do a masterful job of redirection how much you are actually paying without giving the right amount notice time.

That post is laughable.
Coach selection is the only thing matters.

Are you thinking that there might be some ‘skiing’ of funds or just some waste with the Board.

I don't think the Board is corrupt. I do think the Board thinks there is more equity in the AMHA/Tigers name than the kids/parents think. Too often it is, I will play for AMHA is I can't make Team X or Team Y. Every kid at 6 playing hockey wants to play in the NHL. Every parent wants to make their kid dream stay alive for as long as possible. Will the AMHA be the place to keep that kids dream alive the longest?

The U13AA coach has been with the team since they were U9 and his kid happens to be the weakest player on the team. When the coach's kid is clearly the least skilled player, the coach's main focus shifts away from developing the team as a whole.

I'm not sure, but I think something funny is going on with the funds. Everyone knows of the backdoor deals made with a certain printing company and uniform supplier. I also have zero respect for a "president" that told his coaches to go out and recruit players immediately and not to worry about the OHF rules regarding tampering as they are just scare tactics. We've already had one coached accused of tempering, wonder how many more accusations will come forward.

He doesn't care about development at all. He only cares about keeping his son in AA as long as possible. I mean let's be honest, he coached a year up AA when his should have been in MD and had his son play AA a year up... self serving is his MO
