I've seen prices ranging from $5500 - $8000 that includes the gate fees and GTHL registration fees. Scarborough is probably the cheapest, but they are the worst organization, I'd pay more and put my kid into a different organization.
Paid coaches doesn't always equal development and success. Top teams in the east are parent coaches and supplement with outside help throughout the year. This keeps costs to the lower end. Call around and ask.

EE is just under 5k, including gthl fees. Think that is the cheapest.

Stay clear from this team
Why is that?
Word on the street is it is expensive, coach is spread a bit thin as he has another team, crazy practice times, cliche and the kids aren't the nicest to each other at times.
Sounds like little Johnny wasn’t asked back
SYB players seen at skates.. yes some AAA which they won't make but also AA skates. The core parents, management, coaches talk a big game on development and long term plan. It might pan out in a couple more years.
How many kids leaving? How many cuts were made? Kids skating other places means nothing it’s just the time of year kids are everywhere

Westhill is well-coached. The team isn't loaded with talent (other than the one goalie) but they give better teams trouble.
Based upon what!? That team looked worse than it did at the start of season when we played them.. NYK, TR, MI are decently coached teams.

Is a good coach one that puts together a game plan or a coach that develops skilled players?

I’m not sure why anyone would post what they “heard” without experiencing it. the family vibe is very positive. Coach is excellent and is pushing a growth mindset with culture of good habits to build good humans. As pointed out this is where long term success is built. That’s our experience.

Or maybe those players are shopping around. I wonder if the players that came over from the west side were happy with the coaching and how the team performed.

Only experience I have with M#ke Fillio is playing against his U10 Ontario Knights AAA team in Summer 2013, but we joined his U12 AA team for 2025. Legit.

Who came from the west to SYB? And why does anyone care if a couple kids are happy or not? Sounds like
One of their parents trying to stir up interest in little Johnny cause he was cut.

SYB appears to be a well rounded team with room for improvement as most teams are at this age. Why so much talk about them. Sounds like parents trying to stir the pot.
