You have to accept and know that not every kid develops in their skating skills. If mom and dad are fat lazy uncoordinated slobs well unfortunately the apple won’t fall far from the tree.

The issues is if you yourself are not athletic and can’t even find your kid a good skating coach then you are basically throwing away your money.

What does a player's parent's athleticism have to do with finding a skating coach and/or whether or not hockey skating coaches are thing?

I think the OP means there’s only so many skating lessons you can take, a lot has to do with genetics and natural talent.

I think he means there's only so many punch turns you can do before your kid gets it and "then what?"
