I agreed with you, until your backhanded comment at the end, which seemed unnecessary. There are good people involved at all levels but there are also bad people. Coaches decide their team culture. The minute they make one back door deal their credibility and team culture blows up. There is a lot that can be done to restore respect in the sport and create a healthy competitive environment, but it needs to start with the board, and the coaches.

Coaches like this have no respect for the board- the board cant help.

Friends and family discount, known bad coaches have beat out great candidates for a number of reasons. Board control and or influence. Coach selection control or influence. Manipulation, lying, favours. Long lost friendships and people in higher circles. If you all really knew the amount of stuff in the closet or swept under the rug you would be shocked. Dream it up Because YES it has likely already happened. The favours one is probably the most creative and shocking.

The board doesnt pick coaches. The coach mentor picks them. We have had mentors that were manipulated in the past but this year it was jw - he was not influenced- all the picks are his - the board had nothing to do with coach selection.

So it's purely coincidence that JW chose a coach for 2012 that will have bench staff consisting of CLs family members?

Ive heard RR is one of the better coaches in the organization
