Exactly most of us know that our kids aren’t going to the show but our kids want to continue playing competitively whether it’s U18 or on a JR A team. Insider info is helpful when a parent is going to drop alot of money on hockey. Are mostU18 teams 50/50 07 and 08s?

That’s fine. Mine wants to be a cop anyways. He’ll play high level mens league with friends and in the North American police league too. Hockey made him a respectful stand up kid that doesn’t take shit from anyone. Great life skill came from the game.

That’s fine. Mine wants to be a cop anyways. He’ll play high level mens league with friends and in the North American police league too. Hockey made him a respectful stand up kid that doesn’t take shit from anyone. Great life skill came from the game.

That’s cute, but honestly, your kid wanting to play high-level men’s league and the North American police league? Pathetic. Hockey should be about aiming for the top, not settling for local leagues after 18. I’ve got a kid in U16 AAA, and if he doesn’t make the NHL, he’s got a real backup plan that would arguably make him even more money—lawyer or investment banker. U18 AAA? Please, that’s a joke. No one’s getting drafted out of that. My son’s going to the big leagues, and he’s got the discipline and drive to back it up. Don’t get too comfortable thinking that men’s league is the dream—it’s just a consolation prize.

Do kids get jackets that say AAA at this age? Does anyone know if dads can get one too? I always wanted one but was never put in any sport as a kid so I would like to have one if my kid makes AAA.

I have a repo business and My worker told me about this guy who said the same thing you did, your life is a consolation prize. LOL while he drove off with your car that you couldn't make the payment on. How are ya? You turn things around in your miserable life yet?

If you want the best coaching and structure at u18 reach out to the Waxers. Haven’t seen any teams play the way they do and under 9k to play there.
