Anyone in the G at 100 points at u18AAA?
Which U18 teams have spots? Anyone heading to JR A or have info on which teams camps are worth it or should be avoided?

There will be a lot of spots open. There are some very bad actors out there, so do some reading on this site. Don't be afraid to ask what the fees are, and check around with other teams and see what they are charging. Anything over 10K, stay away. It's a money grab and chances are the coaches need the money, which opens them up to accepting money under the table. Coaches that have real day jobs, will keep the fees low, put together better teams and there will be way less politics. It's the last year. Have fun. It's wide open, but go with the coaches who have good reputations.

People will pay anything to still live the dream. Sucker are born every minute! You think your kid is gonna make it to the show yet he wasn’t drafted, I got some swamp land to sell you in Florida.

Nah man, I don't think people think that on this thread. They just don't want to get ripped off. Sure there's no SHOW, but the hockey ain't bad.
[/quote]

Exactly most of us know that our kids aren’t going to the show but our kids want to continue playing competitively whether it’s U18 or on a JR A team. Insider info is helpful when a parent is going to drop alot of money on hockey. Are mostU18 teams 50/50 07 and 08s?

EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Because absolutely NONE are making the NHL.

That’s fine. Mine wants to be a cop anyways. He’ll play high level mens league with friends and in the North American police league too. Hockey made him a respectful stand up kid that doesn’t take shit from anyone. Great life skill came from the game.

Chester, I think you're feeling a little insecure about your own son's development. If the skills don't come, set up on Youtube and type the words: Bob Probert.

That’s cute, but honestly, your kid wanting to play high-level men’s league and the North American police league? Pathetic. Hockey should be about aiming for the top, not settling for local leagues after 18. I’ve got a kid in U16 AAA, and if he doesn’t make the NHL, he’s got a real backup plan that would arguably make him even more money—lawyer or investment banker. U18 AAA? Please, that’s a joke. No one’s getting drafted out of that. My son’s going to the big leagues, and he’s got the discipline and drive to back it up. Don’t get too comfortable thinking that men’s league is the dream—it’s just a consolation prize.

Lawyer or investment banker? lol!!! So a crook. Cool. Guess what, the cop will be fcking your daughter in law while superstar is at “the office”, killing it before his 11 o’clock D division game at Canlan Scarborough. (That’s where daddy’s superstars end up)

He's a troll. He is nowhere near Bay Street, he's not working for a top firm anywhere. Middle management in Vaughn, probably watches "The Office" and doesn't realize that he's the punchline.

Do kids get jackets that say AAA at this age? Does anyone know if dads can get one too? I always wanted one but was never put in any sport as a kid so I would like to have one if my kid makes AAA.
