coach is a loser wow, walks to the end of the bench and clapping like a retard getting the other coach is attention.
then does a countdown 3,2,1 at the end of the game....i would certainly not want my kid around that crazy
does this still happen?
at the MI game their assistant got booted for yelling "you f***** r*****" at the ref. everyone heard. embarrassing to do that in front of children. grow up its u11 hockey dumbass.
mistakes were made. A change behind the bench will be made going forward.

MI tie TRT
NT beat EE

wild!
U11 hockey. Strap in! Anything can happen.
..
actually that's not true. SIR won't beat NT 99.9% of the time as they didn't make enough gains to offset the starting gap.
But, a team that focuses on development will improve and those that don't won't... so congrats to those types of coaches
Lol...at the parents who keep coming on here and trying to hold onto this idea that the reason their team isn't better is because their team is 'focused on development'. Its U11 hockey, the only way you can be successful is by developing the players. The teams still alive in the playoffs have developed their players. Just own the fact that your kid's team is not that good yet. Hopefully they get better, do what you can as afamily to make the team better, but stop trying to claim some moral high ground in your mediocrity.
That isn't how I understand the post; they seem to be saying that teams aren't good overall because they haven't developed their players.

Seemed to be in reference to MI making the final four while others did not. Seems you share that perspective.
MI kids were a well coached squad with A skill and lots of hustle. The other bottom teams don't have much development. NYK and SYB focused on physicality and playing dirty, which works once in a while. There coaching and skills didn't progress as much as other teams.

Wasn't our year in the end but 64-7-7 is a successful season.

Good luck to both TR and NT.

Couldn’t give 110%. Couldn’t keep sticks on the ice. Couldn’t put the puck in net.

Facts. Most coaches are lazy or self interested. That's why they ride their goalie or one or two players instead of building out a team. Ask EE or WH. It wasn't just NYK or SYB who were coached lazily. Good coaching takes work and it's rare.

Let me get this straight. It is better to develop a team system (ie. Dump and Chase) than it is to develop individual skills and promote creativity?

Got it. Good luck as your kids get older and they can't think hockey cause all they know how to do is play an 11u system.

I would rather a coach that first builds individual skill then slowly works it into a team environment. I guess to each their own.
