FA drop down will not be a game changer, that team has no grit. Look at this play offs and look at the results vs the Eagles. No heart, give your head a shake.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 5:16 pmFH kid is excellent. Maybe top 10-15 this year. He’s never been the best player in the loop, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If he has a team around him, he is going to win A on his shoulders alone. Parents in this loop have to stop pretending, that with few exceptions, there kids aren’t in A for a reason. Again, nothing wrong with that. The disillusionment in this loop is next level.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 4:54 pmI like this post!Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 11:36 amLOL. But what a great post! It could be entirely made up, but it’s a great read. I love the enthusiasm for next season. And it’s mostly positive too. Are you the Garry Bettman of A loop?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 8:22 am 25/26 Power Rankings:
1. SIR - Top team this year and getting better with two strong incoming players.
2. FH - Forward coming down from AA is a game breaker. Will challenge SIR if they can get better defensively.
3. VRE - Showed at the end of this season that when the team plays together they can be dominant. But others are catching up on talent.
4. TA - Will overcome the playoff collapse of this past year. Great existing talent and adding a couple of strong pieces.
5. NT - Overperformed last year but made a couple of improvements to their D. The one goalie gives them a chance to beat all teams ahead in any given game.
6. WH - I'm not sold on AA players moving down making a difference, but they had some good talent this past year and will definitely be better.
7. LF - Picked up a couple a couple of AA players coming down but like WH I don't expect it to make a difference. Also have a strong goalie that can make up for other weaknesses.
8. TRT - Standing still so expect them to slip slightly.
9. YM - Will be improved with several new pick ups and a solid AA goalie coming down. Could challenge TRT for 8th.
10. MI - Losing top scorer will hurt. Will struggle.
11. NYK - Losing a lot of players that are being replaced with select kids .
12 / 13. WH / GPR - In for a long season.
The Forest Hill drop has been the best player in the AA loop since U10. And he'll play D every other shift, so D will improve as well.
Look, kid's just wanna have fun without being on the ice 6 times a week. And the single A loop will get even more competitive as the AA and AAA kids drop down after the draft year.

8-3 Eagles
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
Not possible. I’ve read on here that SIR has the most unbeatable goalie tandem in the history of hockey. Most shutouts ever, lowest GAA since diaper hockey, big game studs, etc.. Shirley this is a typo.
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
Every great team has its weaknesses and works together to overcome them. One bad game doesn’t mean SIR goalies are going to lose the series for them. It’s not the goalies fault his team gave up so many shots and couldn’t defend. They will figure it out. Team needs to step up for the goalies for the rest of the series. Go SIR!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:01 amNot possible. I’ve read on here that SIR has the most unbeatable goalie tandem in the history of hockey. The numbers are the numbers. Didn’t hear ya chirping last game when they won 3-2??? Where were you then? Shirley you are a clown. Enjoy whatever non playing team you pay for your kid to be on. I’m guessing I know who you are and seriously get over it champ. I have a beer case Stanley cup just for you.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:01 amNot possible. Shots were 23-19 in favor of sir, 23 is not "so many shots"Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:14 amEvery great team has its weaknesses and works together to overcome them. Must be a goalie dad to blame the defense. You win as a team and you loose as a team, I can't imagine what the conversations to the rink are like

Re: 2010 GTHL A East
They gave up 6 to many shots. Defence can’t let the team down moving forward and allow pucks to get to our net. They will figure it out and prevail as usual. Go SIR!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:47 amShots were 23-19 in favor of sir, 23 is not "so many shots"Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:14 amEvery great team has its weaknesses and works together to overcome them.
