For U14-U18 if you are a strong player head to QRD give your kid a chance to win some games and play Sundays in tournaments. these ages last just got to double digit wins all combined and not strong coaching at any level here. Run Forest Run.

Fiset - when he coached U14 made the OMHA'S then was replaced when all the Quebec kids came to town.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:51 pmWhen was the last team this organization had U13 - U18 teams that were .500 or higherGuest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 5:29 pmThis could be the worst year?Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 9:12 amMP, JC, KG, RT, what an ensemble. Even though they made omha's they were a .466 team, that went on a run in playoffs. I have yet to see a gk team have 500 or more.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:42 amFiset - when he coached U14 made the OMHA'S then was replaced when all the Quebec kids came to town.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:51 pmWhen was the last team this organization had U13 - U18 teams that were .500 or higherGuest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 5:29 pmThis could be the worst year?Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 9:12 amMP, JC, KG, RT, what an ensemble. Kingston should have left the OMHA a long time ago, hoping that they get smart and join the HEO soon.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:06 pmEven though they made omha's they were a .466 team, that went on a run in playoffs. Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
They were a part of HEO around a decade ago and left because they wanted their kids to get more exposure in OMHA. When they did that the A and AA teams also got kicked out.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:56 amKingston should have left the OMHA a long time ago, hoping that they get smart and join the HEO soon.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 8:06 pmEven though they made omha's they were a .466 team, that went on a run in playoffs. Now families drive 3hrs to Barrie for a 8-1 ass kicking, when they could've driven an hour or two for all their games.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
So it begins.
After several weeks of listening to parents talk about where their kid is going to play and watching our executive hire recycled coaches who have historically accomplished nothing, the grind of tryouts starts today. Or is it really tryout?
Let's start with the exec, they have tried to put more lipstick on a pig but the ones putting on the lipstick are still around. We have an executive who hired themselves at U14 & at U15 they hired their own son who has little to NO Head Coaching experience! KG will try and get things straightened out but will fail & place blame where ever he can. Who in their right mind would put their kid in a place where they're not going to have success.
Conflict of interest, nepotism or is it just a lack of not caring? U15-all I can say is shame on you ST.
At U16 they bring back Santa Clause, anyone who has any hockey knowledge will just roll their eyes and shack their head. Another long season ahead for our U16 group.
U18 they rehired the guy who won five games last year at U16. Wonder why? Isn't VP CD's kid going to be at this level this year? Just shameful.
Where did the CHAMP end up? Just another one hit wonder.
Future problems will occur with our younger age groups as the "influential daddy's" secure their kids spots. Bringing in JO will be the biggest mistake this executive has ever done!
Time will tell but the future doesn't look too bright even with open borders happening. Good luck to all at 'tryouts"

I love your armchair analysis. Same disgruntled Dad who's kid gets cut each year and you sit on the sidelines hoping to at least get a sniff of an AP spot. Keep posting here cus the amusement is great. Why don't you play the game of thrones yourself? You can't cus either your kid isn't good enough or your wife isn't hot enough to get Johnny a spot. You trolls on here are pathetic.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:42 am So it begins.

Allowing JO in is a mistake, unless the plan is to sideline her after thanksgiving after cards on teams are full.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:42 am So it begins.

I don’t have a horse in any race on any of these teams as my kid has aged out. But why is allowing JO to come in and coach? Her success in QRD seems pretty solid. I see the VP didn’t even show up to tryouts today as he was in QRD, guess he doesn’t like DT coaching his kid? Good luck to all the kids this yr. Your gonna need it with Santa coaching draft yr age kids.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 5:48 pmAllowing JO in is a mistake, unless the plan is to sideline her after thanksgiving after cards on teams are full.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:42 am So it begins.

DT, I guess it would be awful having an ex pro hockey player as a coach what would he know about the game?Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:26 pmI don’t have a horse in any race on any of these teams as my kid has aged out.
