Some weak tryouts. Toros had 6 skaters. MB looked like they lost a lot. SV all HL kids , MT going to take the biggest leap it seems.

NS had 13 skaters only today. Heard some went to other skates happening at same time (ie MT, FT & WM). Toros had 13 skaters (not 6 skaters like previous post claimed). ST has 20 skaters. MB had 16 skaters.

Is it true that many kids left ST? Do they still have spots available, if yes what position?
Let's get one thing clear.
No one voluntarily left.
The ones no longer on the team were cut.
Of course everyone wanted to stay, but you cut them, so some kids had to go to play AAA or higher caliber teams. More likely kids that stayed couldn't find a team. You only cut one kid last second, so his parents were struggling to find something for him.
Nevertheless, if ST got rid of previous coach and he will have no say on anything, level of drama falls, it could be a good entrance option to AA. not too strong, not too fast, but definitely not the worst place to try playing AA in GTHL. ST is better than A (and sometimes AA) in Halton or Brampton. Unless new coach stuffed the team with his son's friends, there should be enough spots available.
This post makes no sense. Sounds like a jealous cut rambling on.

Of course. Why all your so called “cuts” went AA and AAA and you could add new kids almost exclusively from A? Im sure that some kids in A are good and will easily adjust to AA, but stillGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 5:38 pmThis post makes no sense. Just to be clear- No one was cut last second.
No one went on to play AAA or a higher calibre of hockey as you claimed.
Sorry not sorry. Get your facts straight.
Never easy to cut a kid. At the right level your kid will succeed too.

"HBHockey" could stand for 'Honey Baked' which is what East Enders play under over spring.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 10:37 pmSYB is not higher level... move on peasantGuest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 1:37 pmPosted from other thread
A goalie is wanted for a high-level AA team in the GTHL East. Please get in touch with 'hbhockeycoach@gmail.com' for details.
Thanks

You do realize that turnout # in G tryouts mean absolutely nothing. It's the quality,.not quantity. OMHA is a different, but in the G, the teams are pretty much set pre try out. Think the MT and MB will be improved the most with some big additionsGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 5:17 pmNS had 13 skaters only today. MB will be crap like last year, no significant pickups and MT lost their best player. HV's year next season
