2013 GTHL AAA

The entry fee alone for this tournament was $1,000 for Everest. 6 days in Montreal with hotel gas and food makes a $5,000 trip. One of the reasons Everest brought in players from outside was because not every family is willing to pay that kind of money for a summer tournament.

Teakle said in Florida that JB and XZ are not elite players. After coaching them for several games he just was not impressed with their ability.
Okay but there is no way FH, LC, LE, and ZB are elite players either.

Well ZGB is the best D on that entire team so no question about him being there. GD and NOS are also surprises that they made the team. Teakle has coached all these kids and must feel they are better players than JB, EW, KL, BH.

I know it’s 5 day tournament but one thousand per player is steep

I asked AN and he said they tried to launch two good teams but failed, go to the source and it’s not as dramatic as you all think.

AN has absolutely nothing to do with the summer teams

Look at the rosters! 90% of the second team is kids nobody ever heard of including two from AA! It was a cash grab plain and simple!

The Toronto kids on Everest are the ones paying for the outsiders to play. The best is that little miss piggy used names to sell other kids to commit on the b team last minute or face having to pull out of the tournament and all her “cuts” are playing on teams that had open spots last minute as they did not want to play for such an org. They also aren’t issuing refunds.

Toronto kids are not paying extra, the American families are all well off. and kids who got sent to the B team were all cuts. Deal with it.
