All this back and forth is nauseating - relax people. With that said what is the over/under on Guido eating 22 hotdogs during the tournament?
Agreed. All of the best players are on the Brick teams. There are no obvious “snubs” or players who would be shoe-ins who aren’t there. The best players are there.
There might be 3-4 players in the province who might have gotten one of the last roster spots if they’d had their very best day at tryouts, but that will always be the case at any level with any team.
You haven’t watched enough hockey outside of Toronto if you actually believe that.
He’s right, outside of Toronto the hockey is extremely weak. They could not make a 17 player roster that would be competitive.
Lol. Take a look at the rosters. Half the kids are from outide gthl. Development couldnt be that great inside the g. It would be great to see a full team of kids from outside toronto at the Brick blowing past all the paid entries from the toronto team
what roster are you talking about ? the TBD ? I think all the there players for the most part are from the GTA ?
Neither McDavid or Crosby played in the tournament. Get over yourselves. Your kids willingness to put in work between now and age 15 will forge their way in hockey.

Not even close.

The World Junior is our March madness.

A distant second The Memorial Cup.

A distant third Quebec Peewee Tournament.

Only the people involved in the Brick care about it, or in fact have even heard of it if we are being truthful.

That is truly Canadas version of March madness. Most people in Canada have never heard of the Brick tournament.

Hey buddy calling people clowns. Maybe you should have bought a Rolex instead of buying a spot for your kid in the Brick. Then you could have something permanent for your fragile ego in 18 months when nobody ever talks about the Brick again.

My kids a goalie, 2016. I noticed more than one roster with a goalie from a different province / country.

Anyone know how you get hooked up with these people? I wouldn't mind my kid joining in with TPH, but if that doesn't work out, I have no interest in playing for those Italian goofs at the bulldogs.

maybe hoping in with a USA team might lower the costs dramatically too since you don't need to do all the songs and dances with the toronto teams of doing $500 a week in private skates with them.

Great forward planning. Land a spot now on a Brick team. It will take a year of privates and teamwork for you kid to be ready for an event like the Brick. Think in terms of golf, playing a cottage dog track now and in a years time you will be playing the Masters in front of 1000s of people. This is the transition your kid will face in order to be ready for an epic even like The Brick.

They’re worse of the Toronto teams and that’s saying something. Delusional freak, they’re gonna get their asses handed to them by Detroit and Minnesota, the others I don’t know as well but if TBd hit .500 it’ll be a success.
