Is it too early to start thinking about finding a new team for next year? My kid's team is just horrific and no improvement since start of year, with little ability for that to happen. I don't need a top tier team, but just something where there is a path to improvement for all players. Without giving too much away talking about a AAA team 2010-2013.

Some have already made arrangements for next year in the GTHL most teams are formed by December

You've still got some time. Most teams have locked in top 2 lines but there continues to be movement, and likely will be up to tryouts

OP posted this Oct 24...two weeks into the season and he claims "no improvement since the start of the year".

If the kid were decent, the coach would have been over playing him and kissing his @$$ hoping he will stay next year. The only person complaining about development in the first two weeks into the season would be the parent of a tenth forward who doesn't see the ice...no chance of moving to a better team.
