G’s on VR are questionable. Crumble under pressure. Can’t win in tourneys because they actually get tested in those games. If VR lose a few players next year I can see them fighting for midpack.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:04 amWasn't great, tough goal to give up. Feel for the kid. Wonder if they'll be much different next season?

Heard that before every game the TE coaches make the players pretend they are eggs in the dressing room. A coach goes around and sits on them until they ‘hatch’ then another coach comes and makes them eat a gummy worm out of their mouth. Then they all flap their arms and caw-caw around the room.
WTF? This is so weird I’m not sure what to think.

I would say no question goaltending has held them back in a few of these tourneys now. But I think they'd have to lose quite a few key pieces to take that far a step back. Hard to dominante year after year, they'll still be tops but likely not with the same ease they've done it with previously.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:54 amG’s on VR are questionable. Just read this today, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MCqGi2i6_Y 1:01:54 is the "Cheap Shot". imo it doesn't seem like a crazy hitGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 19, 2025 10:10 pmI think it's more accurate to say that a cowardly and cheap hockey player with no honour who attacks from behind ruined that. This is far from an isolated incident and this player is known in the league for not being tough but for being cheap. Who is telling this kid that this is ok? smh
Hitting from behind has no place in the game. If you think otherwise then you have serious problems. It has zero to do with playing physical. You can tell by your comment that you are the problem here and that's likely where the kid gets it. Playing dangerous is not admirable and not "old school hockey". In the old days a loser player like that would get dealt with pretty quickly and they would learn fast not to do that anymore. Set a better example for your player.
You think that a mom is crazy for going to the dressing room to check on her son who was just sent head first into the glass? Seems quite normal. She did nothing wrong back there. She went to our room, not yours. So what's the big deal? Your trainer came back acting like the mom was doing something wrong when she wasn't. So, mind your business and let the mother go to her son. But now she's a "crazy" mother. So pathetic. Keep making up stories to vindicate your loser behaviour.
If your player can't offer anything except cheap shots, perhaps you should drop to A. Good players don't need to resort to what you are doing.

Agreed. How is that a cheap shot. The kid came in on a 45 degree angle, hit him in the side under the arm pit to separate him from the puck.

The dude that wrote the egg and gummy worm post wins post of the year…that’s next level hilarious.
