At this point your probably locked in. So just put on a smiley face and get used to it to putting up with the coaches BS. Try to keep your head up high as others will label you as losers and suckers as you wank into the arenas. You have been suckers in and funding someone else’s minor hockey career.

It makes sense now why a few players returned for the free ride. Normally everyone leaves the caps each year. I feel sorry for the fillers

Remember there is no such thing as a free ride. The long term damage caps will do to your kids love of hockey far outweighs the few grand you’ll save.

What I would recommend is to put some dollars in the caps budget for a psychiatrist. You’re gonna need it for your sanity. Stay motivated and good luck with what’s to come.

I hear 3 D, 3 F and a G are free rides. Also heard they are buying equipment and sticks for some kids. Coach and his buddies are taking advantage of the rest of the team. Some paying $7000-9000 for the season plus $3000 for spring. AA losing for AAA prices.

There's not a player on that team with the talent to even suggest a free ride, never mind 7. This will end badly for all involved.

I’ve heard a lot of crazy things but free rides for the caps is laughable. I was chatting with a parent at the rink yesterday and it’s all true. Everyone left so they needed to bribe a few players to stay as everyone just walked out at the end of the season. The ones that took the free ride couldn’t land a spot elsewhere so they had no choice. Team was at risk of folding and may still be if they cant get a few more suckers to pay the way.

So apparently the Caps are asking a group of parents to pay for 6 players who couldn't land a spot somewhere esle and are still trying to fill a roster, I'm told the Panthers coaches were spotted scouting A tryouts trying to fill a roster, what about the Wolverines? Are they at least in better shape?

Last I heard wolverines still looking for a D
