I believe GP and NYK lost over 10 players each. Lost both goalies including one of top goalies in loop. NYK replacement should be good but not same caliber. Lack of D depth exposed in playoffs won’t change - swapped out skilled D for more size unless more changes coming to replace bottom pairing at tryouts - D won’t be stronger. Lost a strong forward but apparently another NYK top forward coming in so should be about the same.
WH will improve as forwards are better but stay at 4/5, NYK will drop down to bottom group with changes. FH similar, GP similar not sure of changes, MI was the most improved team last year but probably similar spot, TR & LF battle for last but TR should improve a bit
NYK is rebuild with only a handful going back also. Likely weaker.
MI likely lost their 40 goal scorer, so will need to replace that. Likely a little weaker.
SYB likely improved on strong additions. improved.
FH likely lots of changes with a few going to LF. likely the same.
LF may surprise as they have some AAA's coming and FH players. Likely better.
TR likely bottom again. Not sure where they stand. Can't be worse.
Top teams: SYB/EE, then NT/WH
NYK not a rebuild but lost a few players
MI much improved. Cut the player referred to here
SYB much improved. Cut some bad attitudes
FH hard to say but lost a lot
LF AAA? Not sure they were AAA to begin with
TR 0-34
NT Great pickups. My pick to win it all
WH NYK pickups hard to say what they do
EE Some players want out due to parent coach. We will see
2010 GTHL AA East

Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
“SYB much improved. Cut some bad attitudes”. They cut their coach and all the crazy moms? The cancer of that team is at its core. They have never, and will never win anything of import. Way too disfunctional. “EE players want out due to parent coach”? She’s literally won the East every single year. Tell me you’re a crazy Bruin mom without telling me you’re a crazy Bruin mom.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:17 amGP lost only a few playersGuest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 10:04 amGP lost quite a few of their best players. - GP
- NYK
- FH
- MI
Teams that will struggle to find their way:

Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
Goalie was never close to one of the tops in the loop. NYK goalie isn’t even their best goalie next year. They added D with both size and skill. NYK F is an upgrade. Team is well coached. They did not get worse.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 4:46 pmGuest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 10:26 amWH should finish around the same spot but didn’t get better with all the reported changes. Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
Hearing the knights got an AAA goalie from NYR. That can make them the top contender in the east
Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
um that cannot be further from the truth. lol Oh wait, you mean top contender for the Clancy? yes maybe I'll give you that.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 9:22 am Hearing the knights got an AAA goalie from NYR. That can make them the top contender in the east
Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
Either AAA NYR goalie will be just fine and a considerable upgrade from last year for AA NYK. Which one lefty or righty?
Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
Single A is ok, that’s where your little guy should be. Nothing wrong with it. It’s better than opening and closing the bench door. Nyk will be top 3Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:14 pmNYK = Pay to play coaching
Re: 2010 GTHL AA East
I heard that top WH f #86 leaving for single A? I could see why, trainer and parents have zero class. I feel bad for all those kids. WH is going to be absolutely horrid next year. Kept some of their worst D and cut their best. Lots of weird changes with the WH team. Roll ted reeve!!!!Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 9:11 pmI don’t think WH is in that top group anymore.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 7:26 pmThat only helps if they kept their 2 only scorers.
