There has been a lot of GTHL West OMHA, and North York AAA talk for the 2016's.. Lets talk about top players from OMHA Lakeshore loop potentially going AAA. Or the Few that can from each team if there's any.

Peterborough

MD kids do not play Physical enough or have the GRIT to play AAA. KLEVR players play tough, they skate through players. I'm a MD dad and have yet to see a GRITY type player that will take the puck and go through a player up the boards.

There will always be MD kids that make AAA, but, I think in most cases the better kids are in KSL right now.

I guess we will see when teams start announcing their rosters for AAA 2025/26 - but the 2015 cohort was like 95% KSL kids, and AA hockey looks really bad for them.

Could be a Couple of other kids from the Lakeshore loop that could potentially make MW if they tryout. I have heard they will be looking hard for players to fill the roster.

MW will be a bottom feeder team. Don't know why anyone would take their kid there. Will hurt their development.

Everyone really has no faith in JW coaching MW. Give the guy a chance. He's been around the game and played the game at a decent level. He's coached in the GTHL and OMHA. I've heard he is taking the Best D and Best Forward From ND, and Stouffvilles Best Players too.

Never heard of the guy. What about the 14 other players? MW will be equal to an average AA team at best.

Can you share where you have found JW coaching history in the GTHL & OMHA, I haven’t been able to find anything, however after some digging did confirm he was denied ND coaching positions. Sounds like this could be a disgruntled dad that took any coaching position he could get. And if I’m right, let me guess… one of the “best” ND kids you list below is his son that wouldn’t be able to crack the team if dad wasn’t the coach.
