As a Coach optics are important. I never give it to my kid even when I think he deserves it. If that is happening... and more than once your Coach is an ass.

Every team my kid has ever been on, the players choose MVP each and every game. Seeing that you're a parent coach, it's not surprising that you didn't know this.

Spoke like a true parent coach- there has never been a situation where the coach’s kid is not favoured. This is why the kid is hated by teammates.
