Hopefully it’s a positive year for all these players. Minor hockey goes by quickly and before you know it they’ll all be playing pick up hockey with their buddies. Keep it classy parents - your players see youGuest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 5:06 pmYa I’ve never considered LJS a top 3 team but I will give them credit they improved last year. With SCP and B99 blowing up I imagine it will be LJK 1 and spots 2-9 will be anyone’s game on any night if some of the other teams even took a small step forward.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 3:10 pm “Consistent top 3 team in the league” might be a stretch especially if you can easily look back at the standings but I would certainly agree they have greatly improved the last year or 2 and should be considered a top 3 or f team this year

With London, Brantford and Sun County traditionally being the top teams I would say London is now the clear #1 after tryouts and I'm not sure Brantford or Sun County will be able to stay atop the league with their major losses and some of the additions the 4th-7th placed teams made. It will be interesting

Re: 2010 Alliance
Looking at the former prediction here this is what I see after the first few weekends of exhibition games:
LJK - still looks like the top dog here.
HPL - has looked disappointing against GBH and WW was all over them
B99 - red flag almost losing to a very bad Guelph team
SCP - only win in the TRW early bird was against the worst team there
WW - looked bad against UCC but impressed against HPL and LJK this weekend
LJS - looked bad at the TRW early bird
KJR - haven't seen enough but they looked ok against the Steel who also looked ok at TRW
WJS - looked bad at TRW early bird
EMC - really impressed at TRW early bird against some big teams.
CKC - still very bad
CH - haven't seen enough but they're bad
This league is anyone's to take except for the bottom few teams

Re: 2010 Alliance
After the early bird it's clear that the sun county and brantford kids leaving have really hurt this league but at least it will be pretty even overall. I have no clue how 1-9 will finishGuest wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 2:25 pm Looking at the former prediction here this is what I see after the first few weekends of exhibition games:

Re: 2010 Alliance
2 weeks in still waiting for the London implosion... maybe next week lol
HP has impressed at times and left much to be desired at others
Windsor has started the season 3-0 and had a decent tournament in the states going 2-2-1...see if they can keep it up
SCP is in general having a tough start to the season... no surprise with the roster changes
Sarnia has impressed by keeping games close against some tough teams this weekend
EMC the "blue collar" worker bees of the league and man they like to throw their weight around
99ers are better then anticipated still strong defensively and forecheck like demons... just don't have the scoring touch they had
Kitch is looking better then last year with the roster changes
WW is not having a very good start to the season. went 0-4 in the Dufton and lost to SCP at home
CKC and Cambo are as expected... no quit in them though
