Really good, young, non-parent coach (with experience, and a Player Scouting & Development Consultant for Jr. B) who is taking over the team after being the assistant coach last year.

Skate is at Zancor Centre at 5:30pm on Saturday.

OMHA has also made changes to York Simcoe for a lot less travel, details here:

If a program is posting here, this is really sad and desperate. I've heard some terrible things about this! Stay far away.
King City brought in a paid coach, he built a super team, it blew up over the weekend, and the paid coach quit Sunday morning. The new coach was the assistant coach last year and in my opinion is going to do very well. Up to you, but if you're looking I would encourage you to come and meet him.
soooo you're saying a new paid coach of the 91st ranked of 94 teams built a "super team" somehow, but then on the weekend decided to blow it up and the remains of that will do "very well." Sounds promising.

Really though, why would anyone in Toronto go and play for this team when they can play for a local sh*t show of a team and save on travel at least.
People outside of the city go to play for TR and LF. Same difference.🤣
Won't pretend it's going to be a top team, but I will say that the coach is young, motivated, has a great rapport with the kids and will do a lot to develop them as players. Not for everyone, but if you are looking, want a good coach, I would highly recommend attending and checking it out as an option.

If you'd rather play for a local sh*t show, all the power to you as well.
Wondering why can't King find 17 local players? It's a decent sized area.

Anyway all the, and good luck. Seems like a tough situation.

The former coach is a Jr. A coach and drew a lot of interest in the area. He had a super-team built, including a number AAA drop downs, weeks ago, so a lot of the local kids moved on - a number of them to the GTHL. Once the former coach shared the budget (paid coaching for him and two assistants he wanted to bring in) last week, the core of the team walked last weekend. It's the first year of Open Borders with OMHA so a lot of kids have gone to multiple neighboring associations for tryouts that started on Monday. Expect a good turnout on Saturday from kids in the area but it's also a chance for those interested to take advantage of the same Open Borders and look to play in the OMHA loop with the least driving. Again, I believe in the new coach and want to help him put together the best team possible from the largest talent pool.

Anyways, that's all for this public service announcement. Wanted to share the opportunity for anyone interested, and best of luck to everyone next season.

top 4 is about right. may see SYB as #1. remaining teams all blew up with many changes. hard to determine. likely lots of parity there. TR likely bottom again.

Maybe SB takes the regular season, but they always get out coached when it counts. Cant win when it matters.
