How did JP sneak his way onto the TPH brick lineup? Does he even play?

I Expected Holmes to be a pylon- he had no clue how to stop a backhand shot from average Omha kids. But the other goalie JS is just as weak. Those are 2 positions bulldogs shouldn’t have let “favours” get in. There are far more dominant goalies out there that could have at least gotten them 1-2 wins.

Bulldogs next 2 games are against the top teams. They will be 0-4 by tomorrow and not advance to the playoff round. Beyond embarrassing for a Toronto team.
D and goaltending are a total mess. Because 2015 is weak the Marlies can hide this but not for long.
There are easy 2/3 better goalies and 5/6 better D they could have gone with , but wanted to try and build their winter team through the brick.

TM going to be in for a real long winter. Their so called #1 goalie for pulled against a team that the Reps would beat.
ML gonna get his money regardless from brick stuff so there is zero incentive for him to pick goalies that should actually be there when he needs a goalie for his TM winter team. None of the other goalies good enough to make team likely to play for him so he needed the brick roster spot to seal the deal with JS.

No one at the brick cares what is being said on here. Can’t you just enjoy the summer and not be jealous of 9/10 year olds?

This is completely untrue.
Stop the madness.

We are the craziest age group in minor hockey history.

To the poster above , the 2015 age group is the deepest in the last 5-7 years across North America. If you want to talk trash then know your audience and come prepared.
it is??? i was under the impression the 2014 group is better. Let's also remember that covid probably played a role here. Not making excuses, i'm happy with where my kid is at but i wouldnt have thought 2015 is a spectacular birth year.
I can’t stand people who keep using Covid as an excuse. It didn’t hold Saskatchewan 2015 boys back. Or any other boys - just the bulldog crew. Bulldogs went with buddies and favours - now it’s obvious that 5-6 boys shouldn’t be there at all.
like it or not it matters a lot as far as skating ability goes. A critical year of development was missed.
lol. But apparently it didn’t matter for any of the PDH boys, Saskatchewan boys, or omha/alliance boys who could skate circles around those “favours” who made bulldogs. You are looking for excuses- if Covid made those boys suck they should have chosen the actual top players. Plenty are well above the bottom 5-7 on that team.

Good! Because he’s absolute dust. id love to hear how a kid like that got signed to a Brick team. some top Alliance goalies left for US brick teams that will end up far higher in the standings.
I’m not aware of any alliance goalie other than the one who’s playing for Chicago at the brick.
Consider it a blessing he isn’t in the room with your boys.
He is constantly talking crap about players on his own team.
Toronto teams dodged a bullet by passing on him.
No goalies in Alliance should be playing at the brick.
Not a single strong goalie in that league.
My kids middle of the pack omha team ran through LH with 9 goals at a tournament. I assume he has connections because he couldn’t save a beach ball. And clearly can’t at brick.

When they go 1-5 and don’t make the playoff round, they’ll be talked about for years. As the Brick team everyone laughs at. Don’t kid yourself- those parents care about everyone laughing at them. How on earth do you brag that your kid played on a dead last brick team after this week.

0-6 and won't score 9 goals

Ask any tenured, knowledgeable hockey person and they'll tell you that the 2015 group is weak and shallow. I'm saying that as a 2015 parent. That's not saying there are no good players, but the talent level is thin. The 2014 and 2016 group have the same issue. It is what it is, in some ways it's better for the talented kids because they will stand out more than they would in deeper age groups.
A friend is a long time OHL scout and current U14 AAA coach and he has been saying for a couple of years that the 2010 and 2013 groups are the strongest in the past decade.
Again, I am not saying there are no quality 2015 players, my son is a 2015 and in Edmonton right now. It's just the way it is.
