Guest wrote: Sun Apr 20, 2025 11:57 am This weekend proved that the team has solid potential with proper coaching. If a new coach comes in and all but one player returns, Aurora U14AA could be a strong contender next season. Unfortunately, the egos of both MM and AMHA may prevent the right decisions from being made.
April has proven the direction AMHA is going is the right one. Massive playoff success with our rep teams and multiple championships to show for it. Our U13AA showed they can not only compete in OHFs but win games. Our house league/select programs are strong with participation and development setting up for even stronger participation and talent for next season. It is time for the banquet to celebrate these championships across the AMHA and onto tryouts as we look to put together teams to win OHF Championships in 2025-2026.
Hi 2012 parents, AMHA here. Just wanted to start by saying that Michael has a heart of gold. He’s made the generous decision that his wonderful son won’t be playing on the U14 AA team next season so that he can step in as a non-parent coach. You may see his son participating in tryouts, but it’s only for some extra ice time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at tryouts!
Generous?! Generous would be stepping down after destroying an entire age group. What a crock of S H I T.
Very generous indeed. Cutting his own kid so that he can become a non-parent, PAID coach.. yep so generous. His poor kid now has to walk around with the stigma of being cut by his own dad. What a circus.

Generous would be stepping down as coach, PERIOD.
AMHA- an entire team full of kids is on its way out because they feel mistreated and limited, abused even - and you continue to post your tone deaf BS… just shut it already.
CS and the AMHA doesn’t care pal. They never have. The ONLY way to effect change is to go higher up, OMHA, OHF etc. sadly I doubt they will even care much. Until this becomes a viral news story like Brantford, nobody will care.

I don't understand why people just complain here. It is open boarder now, you can go wherever you want. If you are not happy, just go somewhere else. Vaughan, Newmarket, Markham, or any GTHL teams

I think it's because for so long families and players were trapped and had no other options. Now, it could be to simply get their experiences out there so that other families and players know exactly what they are signing up for.

We’re trying to warn people who think coming to Aurora is a good idea. It’s called consideration for others.
