The media wont care unfortunately. this is a small town hockey problem. Nobody else cares.

Ok, non-Aurora parent here. My son was at your u12AA tryout today, and wow what a disappointment. We left another tryout to attend yours and I seriously questioned if I was at a tryout or shinny. Whoever runs your tryouts is terrible. The kid running the on ice session didn’t even have a helmet on, instead a backwards ball cap, how unprofessional. He eventually put a helmet on half way through, probably be use someone told him he has to. What made it truly a terrible tryout, was the fact that it was one small scrimmage after the other. It really was sad to watch, and illustrated why this team was in dead last, last year. Someone mentioned that the kid running the tryout runs a hockey school, I really hope not. I hope this isn’t the “elite level” training you claim to offer in your Facebook post. We thought Aurora might be a breath of fresh air and a nice change of scenery. All it proved to be was a complete disappointment.

So what.. ok he had a sniff in the AHL, doesn’t make him a good coach or evaluator. He runs a terrible clinic and terrible tryout. Wayne Gretzky was the greatest player of all time, and the worst coach ever. The KID isn’t qualified or capable of running a tryout.

God forbids amha to have more than one instructors for clinics and tryouts.
