And they would never announce it at this time of year anyway.

Re: Open borders coming in Ontario
There aren't enough coaches in general. Most associations are stuck with who they have. That's the reality of it. Registrations and volunteers are down across the board.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 1:54 pmOrganizations better start putting good coaches in place otherwise people will leave.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2024 12:53 pmAnother post that will not age well, brace for impact.... might want to bubble wrap yourself. Those that do coach put up with a lot of BS from players to parents to the association. In all honestly, you are lucky to have people volunteer. Are there bad coaches / bad people who volunteer? Obviously, but until others step up, you aren't getting anyone better.

OHF just announced a 4 month review for player movement all categories, all ages.

What does this mean in Layman's terms?Guest wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 5:03 pm OHF just announced a 4 month review for player movement all categories, all ages.
Re: Open borders coming in Ontario
If th OHF goes completely open borders, it essentially means a player can tryout/play in any minor hockey association they want -not restricted by residential address
Re: Open borders coming in Ontario
I wish.... but can't see this happening... from what I'm reading they are just keeping everyone happy saying... ya we will look into it but don't count on it.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:54 pmIf th OHF goes completely open borders, it essentially means a player can tryout/play in any minor hockey association they want -not restricted by residential address
Re: Open borders coming in Ontario
Where are you reading this? It's happening guaranteed. Hockey is the only ontario sport with restrictions. Times have changed you can't tell people what to do or how to spend their money. Those of you who think its not happening better get your head focused. If someone forced the new dressing room rules, residential restrictions is not a bridge too far.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:42 pmI wish.... but can't see this happening... from what I'm reading they are just keeping everyone happy saying... ya we will look into it but don't count on it.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:54 pmIf th OHF goes completely open borders, it essentially means a player can tryout/play in any minor hockey association they want -not restricted by residential address
