If he truly had feelings, he wouldn’t have done what he did to the kids.
You make a great point. Careful though, he may release your kid on the 1st tryout LMFAO
The man is power-hungry, but does he not realize that the border is open, he has no control over anyone, and no one needs release to play elsewhere?
Oh don't kid yourself. All the things the man is, foolish is not one of them. He knows the borders are open, he's been crying for NRPs for years. He's been out recruiting for sure, he will have replacements for anyone who leaves. I'm sure he's already replaced a few people in his mind (even if they didn't plan on leaving).
Foolishness is his defining trait.

With open borders, do you think the AMHA will have that stupid rule making kids try out for the team a level higher than what they played? or will that finally be gone?

AMHA will be everyone's first choice if you want to play AA/A/B. Thus, rule will be gone.

This is true. Local security companies have been sent tenders to quote on providing crowd control for the tryout weeks. There is talk of such demand for the AA teams, that they may need to implement a lottery system, where only the first 200 kids get the chance to try out in Aurora.

Ideas have been floated on erecting a main-stage at the ACC parking lot, where major headliner bands will perform shows to the large crowds following each tryout skate. This is big news.

The planning committee would appreciate it if those with inside information kept that confidential until details are finalized.

We can confirm we are planning presentations of 8th place rings to several teams for outstanding seasons.

Ouch... please remember, this isn't the kids' fault. They didn't ask for this.
