Everything changes as they grow. Some young stars will continue to shine, but a lot will fade away.

Chart the course carefully.
How does JDM manage to get these top kids to play on his teams? He’s someone who didn’t play beyond U16, wasn’t any good, can’t coach, and his on ice training is a disaster. It’s baffling how he convinces parents to buy into this. Can someone explain?

Whatever he is doing is working. They win and next year will be even better with the additions
Big win for them in Detroit this weekend.

His on ice training def isn't a disaster. It's very good for this age.

He got critical mass of top 2017's last year thanks to his recruiting and also some parent recruiting help. Then they won everything last year and that just attracted more good players.

Great culture, why would anyone leave? Where else would any of them want to go?

Problem is they'll be way too dominant in u10 if it stays this way and won't be challenged except in tournaments.

TR Practices are hands down the best U8 sessions. Who ever the above person trying to knock down this young man is the reason hockey has a bad rep. All you hear from that parent group is how great of a culture that he developed.

He must of cut your kid if you know intimately that he cant coach and have seen enough practices to say they are a disaster. But im gonna take a guess your talking out of your ass.
You must be new to hockey if you think a 20 year old puts on the best sessions lol

Oh thanks, I didn't know you had to be a grumpy, bitter old hockey coach to run a good practice for 7 year olds and really connect with them.

You're right, I'm sure there's way better 2017 coaches doing a way better job, just look at all the amazing 2017 teams that have surpassed TR...(checks notes)...nope still just TR and YK and nobody else even close and sadly its gonna be that way for a while.

Any big roster moves for next season ?

Who's getting better ?

Who's getting worse ?

When do AAA teams commit to coaches ? Will this impact roster moves in u9 ?

Raiders JD is the top coach for the younger age groups. There is no doubt. Results speak for themselves.

2017 parents are a quiet bunch.

Wonder if the chatter will pick up next year.

Any of the 2017 teams getting better and adding talent next year or will TR and YK continue to dominate? Hope some of the teams can close the gap.

Asking for opinion:

With goal of playing 2017 AAA for North Central Predators - would it be best to play for Muskoka North Stars T2 next season (not a very good Klevr team this year) or U9MD in Orillia?

As nice as possible, stop being delusional if those are your sons options he is not ready for AAA, let him develop in AA till he’s ready. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that

There are always other options, those are the options due to location - we live smack down in the middle of those and far away from the other good options…

I’ll also add, in my opinion, he would probably make T2 cobras, however I’m unsure about going that route due to things I’ve heard about the organization. FYI - several kids from last years T2 cobras were signed into AAA.
