This association is a joke. Coaches for next season will be just as bad. Only strong team is the U12 group my son plays on. With open borders next season, this team will struggle. Our better kids are leaving for QRD. Perhaps kids who deserve to play will finally get their chance. Our defence needs to be evaluated. The kids not getting regular shifts help the team way more than the ones who are getting all the ice time. Hopefully we get a coach who cares about the team and not just one player next season.

How many changes do you think QRD would make in this age group? The U12 team is pretty solid. I’ve watched them a bunch of times and they seem to play everyone. Many kids chose KAHMA over GK this year - that says a lot. Both U18 AND U16 records are horrendous - and should speak volumes. A lot of time and money goes into our kids hockey season - our executive needs to invest some of their time to have a program that makes kids want to stay with GK not want to leave.
