Serious question? Do you think any of the volunteers who run Elgin give a crap who leaves? They spend hours volunteering their time, to make the organization run. They don’t care who comes, who goes or whatever in between. As long as their kid gets max minutes and preferred treatment they don’t have a care in them. Bye bye

My theory is that we are talking u18 here.. the kids know about this site. Kids who probably get a bit less ice time are upset, normal reaction.. who wouldn’t be upset. But then they don’t have the maturity to speak directly about their feelings so they lash out online because they want the coach to feel as hurt as they are.

Parents do this too, emotional maturity can be difficult to navigate. Take what you read here with next to zero value, it is just a place to vent unfortunately

The new u18 coach is an embarrassment- he definitely can not follow bd- but Bd is the most investigated coach in alliance history. No coach is more corrupt or has had more complaints. This is someone whose verbal abuse is legendary. Sits most of his players and does super shadey shit like dressing suspended players in 4th liners jersey. He had a good year this year so all Is forgiven - pretty standard toxic aaa bs. His team last year sucked shit because he let the highest bidder pick it. This guy was the most corrupt coach Elgin has ever seen - although the new u18 coach will give him a run - good riddance.

U18 LJK coach had3 players up and quit AAA hockey mid-season because of him.. careful with the grass being greener on the other side. Do your homework

No! Dont blow UP the coach mom! Just plain blow him! It works! It got a terrible house league player a C this year!

Okay who is really the better coach of the U18AAA for 2025-2026. A lot of the players are trying to decide who to tryout for next year.

I would say it is RC in LJK. Those players who quit as mentioned above were bottom end kids who were not seeing a ton of ice and opted to play elsewhere with buddies for more fun. They were filled with better players coming in as the season progressed. DM is honestly not good... issues everywhere he has been.
