Many teams move to 1 practice/week in U16 with school becoming more important. This is not an anomoly.
I think the Rangers are onto something here. They’ve got nothing to lose and they seem to be garnering a lot of attention with their cheap budget and one practice. Interesting to see how this turns out.
There's definitely a "Make the Rangers Great Again” movement that seems to be going on here. Maybe worthwhile to check it out!
Kool-aid drinking Ranger parents/coaches posting nonsense. Last I checked there's more than enough time in the week for lots of physical activity (yes lots of hockey) and lots of school ... but you do you and enjoy your 1 or 2 win season next year ... all for the low low price of $3,500.
What’s the excuse… for teams this past season who practiced twice weekly and finished not sooooo great landing 5/6/7 placements in the loop paying 5-6k dollars plus G player fee$.
Sure Rangers parent. Guess it's all a matter of perspective. The Attack had a 13 win season, competed in most games and made the playoffs. So if you are happy and your boy is happy to win 1 game and get their asses handed to them every game then sure go for it ... again for the discounted price of $3,500. Why even play A hockey then with this type of mindset ... you might as well go back to select or houseleague. Wait ... yea forgot ... this is probably the former select coach and new Rangers A coach posting here ...or one of the select players coming up to the Rangers team next year.
Umm… 90% chance for all teams to make playoffs. If not mistaken, Attack got swept early first round plus a 13 win season is waaay below the 50% percent winning success rate. Relying on beating the other 2 bottom teams in west loop isn’t much bragging rights.

Under $4k to play Rep hockey sounds appealing. Where do I I sign up? I’m reaching out to this Coach to find out if this is true?

Already did, and yes, it’s true. Also hearing Rangers getting a lot of interest from bordering cities like Caledon, King, and Richmond Hill players wanting to cross over into the G. This team will look very different next season.

Ok Rangers coach and parents. Spin it whichever way you want. It’s still a $hit sandwich whichever way you slice it.

Makes sense right, get into the G for their draft year, and Vaughan is gotta be one of the top places to do it for visibility. Smart, and saving money.
