2013 GTHL AAA
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
DMF tryouts are going to be amazing with all positions up for grabs. The first real tryout the G has had in years!
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
Their coach KC was fired from Everest for stealing money and was investigated by the G for taking money when he was the Maiors coach years ago all about the dollars not the winsGuest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 9:09 am Why would MM even want that barrie clown show after what they did in dm?

The speed of the game is an easy enough thing to adjust to. At a AA level the skating skill is there. This is the age where you’ll see the smaller guys get pushed out no matter how skilled they are.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 7:49 amSo they’ll be replaced with kids who are bigger but can’t skate?hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 7:38 amAfter this year 25% of the league will comprise of AA kids. When the little guys that can skate but are afraid to get hit annd play in the corners are run out of the league. We are starting to see it this year with some little guys not finding a home yet a few days before tryouts.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 6:26 amNo they won’t. MM will be a bunch of AA kids and the pay for play crew of Barrie kids and the Husky twins.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 11:41 pmProves you know nothing. MM finishes a lot better than you think next season. You heard it here first.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 1:18 pmIf this is true they will be worse then MM this year.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 1:15 pm
DMF under AS has no commitments so far. They want a fair and unbiased process. This is important after the disgrace that MH, the Barrie families and the twins brought to the organization. Every position is up for grabs. Tryouts will be competitive and intense. 17 spots are open. Everyone interested should attend.
It won’t be anywhere near 25% but there will be a few AA kids who move up yes. Going from AA to AAA is a huge jump, the game is twice as fast.

I took my kid to a skate where they didn’t give any kids pinnys or ask what colour or jersey they were going to wear. Does this mean it was a money grab only
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
Totally agree, joined couple of skates, organized very well, MM will be great next season!Guest wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 10:47 am I took my kid to a skate where they didn’t give any kids pinnys or ask what colour or jersey they were going to wear. Does this mean it was a money grab only

Ahaha, if the coach is incapable of outskating a 12 year old.. what exactly are they going to develop? is he going to put the winters on his mobility scooter and teach the kids how to protect the puck? Let's be serious, no one with options would go there.

Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
The skating is the biggest difference between AAA and AA! Have you watched both? It’s not even comparable. The IQ of the players is the second biggest difference, you still see kids trying to go end to end over and over again in AA, just don’t understand hockey. It’s a big jumphockeyrocks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 10:10 amThe speed of the game is an easy enough thing to adjust to. At a AA level the skating skill is there.
