Who will be the most improved team next season?
Steetsville, Toros, Rattlers?
Who will decline the most?
Caps, Terriers, Wolverines?
Stay the same?
Panthers, WM, VR, MB, TE, Jets?
Looking for opinions
These are pointless exercises and never accurate. But, let's have some fun guessing:
VR - similar
MB - similar or slightly worse
TE - similar
Rattlers - better
MNS - better
Terriers - much worse
Caps - much worse
Jets - similar or slightly worse
Wolverines - similar or slightly worse
Sharks - slightly better
Toros - better
WML - similar or slightly worse
Tigers - better
Panthers - similar
What's driving the improvement at Rattlers, MNS, Toros and Tigers?
Where are they getting the better players from? Coaching changes help also.
Bob here, sorry the prediction game tailed off, not enough time and apparently I can't get paid to give my thoughts on AA G hockey. So here is my opinion from simply talking hockey with far too many people and being around the rink way too often.
- Rattlers, coach is back, did well last season and appear to have upgraded some weak spots. I think they'll have a similar record.
- MNS, new coach and players. Personally I think best case they have a similar record but also just a gut feeling they could take a step back.
- Toros, upgraded coaching. Made something like 7-8 changes, which I hear they've upgraded even slightly with each change. Probably enough to improve to 7th or 8th, which would be a big improvement on this past season.
- Tigers, many MT players have gone there, new coach. Will be much improved, but I also think still some very weak links remain and goaltending will be a question. Based on some players they have added I can see depth being an issue. That said, they will obviously improve and get up around 6th to 8th spot.
