HVS is simply not a good place for development. It has been problematic all the way back to the U8 year of these 2015s when the entire top tier team except for the coach’s (worst player) son left to GB or Klevr having realized that they are not being properly developed because the coach has a barely passing interest in hockey. At U9 they had a terrible team and the he coach forced kids into set positions on Day 1 and then didn’t rotate them to give the players experience and allow them to shine where they fit best. He also favours certain players and will play a short bench and make it clear that it’s a form of punishment. Several parents on this year’s team should have complained to the organization but didn’t probably because the coach is very enmeshed in the system.

To summarize: there is no positive to going there. U10-12 are still formative years and development should be a priority.

Steeming HVS dad going scorched earth before he submits his jagmeet singh vote
No need for racism. It does sound like a combo kid/parent cut.
I didn’t write this, but I’m pretty sure the author wasn’t trying to be racist or anything like that. It seems like just another joke about HSV and the stereotype that its parent group is overly focused on progressive causes like gender identity, masks, or climate activism. Instead of Singh, it could’ve easily been a now-retired feminist or any other symbolic figure from that side.

HVS parents as a whole have more issues than a readers digest. Between this guy who was cut and the ninja mom and dad who went to fight MB in the stands to that one mom knocking on dressing room door asking the opposing coach to take her son, c-r-a-z-y

Probably the Terriers
Heard TE looking for 1-2 players. They lost a few to other teams. Definitely looking to add.

I think that the biggest competition will be between 2 Mississagua teams, 2 Vaughan teams and 1 team from Toronto.
How many kids from these 5 went to AAA? According to this forum and rumours VP lost about 2-3, MB- 1, VR, MNS and FT kept their best kids. Don’t know how many cuts, but probably each team cut somewhere between 3-4 weakest players. Interesting to know where did they find new kids?

I wish my parents loved me half as much as these beast parents love hockeytalk/their kids. The best teams next year will be Faustina and probably the panthers, who picked up a goalie. North stars will be strong as I’m sure a lot of the new aaa cut players will want to be a part of that system.

MB will be better than FT. And the other 2 teams mentioned.

FT and MNS have the two best C in the league, east and west (26 and 19). Of those, 19 is better because he had to do it all, scoring after him was very weak. It will depend on who comes onboard after this season to help out these two.

As mentioned above, MB are losing their strong C, but at the same time a parent told me that coach is expecting a aaa calibre forward.
MNS didn’t lose anyone and getting the best kid from ST who will play with 19
