All you parents of tiny kids making fun of the bigger players and their parents are going to have a nasty wake-up call very soon. There’s no room for your peanut size kid in contact sports… at any level. There will be an influx of bigger kids coming in every year from here on out. It happens every year, won’t change for this 2013 group. Many taller kids that are just cracking AAA for the first year will replace smaller players every year. All a big kid has to do is be coachable and put in 15+ hours a week of dev, practice and games to move on to the OHL draft ahead of your kid. You can’t teach size, your peanut kid will run out of room on every play starting next year. It inevitable.
Your envy was high when you made fun of MA playing up a year, you cracked on him for skating but you know you’d do anything for your kid to be that big. It’s the same BS on this site since u9. Anyone with a kid who’s played AAA u15+ will tell you the exact same thing,
There’s no peanuts left!
Ok your kids big. Congrat fakin lations. He still sucks and cant skate like MA. Go watch NHL bud. There is no Frankenstein on the ice that cant move. They are all fast and skilled . Some are big and some are small. But they are all good players with high level of edge work and skating. And they are not soft as baby shit like Easter boy.
You can teach skating. You can teach toughness.
As a big kid you can’t play tough until u15, the physics alone will keep you in the box all game, too many peanuts not being able to hold their own. You’ll be in there even longer against a team that dives like TYN. They teach their kids to tumble, flare and push the net off.
He’s a great kid and your envy can’t take that away from him. You’re pretty sad to be on here, jabbing him and his mother. Just shaddap and enjoy the few years of AAA hockey you have left. Be nice to the big kids, you’re gonna regret it if you don’t!
You can only teach skating to an extent. People think with dozens of hours of practice they can create the ultimate, ate player but it doesn't work that way - the kids need athleticism!!! And some have more than others, and thats what turns out to be the difference as long as the kid is not exceptionally small. If you think a kid is going to dominate based on size alone you're even more of an ass clown than the league already thinks you are.
Easter is not an athlete. He is also a rough skater, not tough, and has a mediocre shot. Thats why he only had 5 goals last year. MA can't skate worth shit either but he's better than Easter is.
P.S. Apparently your wife also has a box that looks like an eagles nest. Double whammy for you.

Another loser dad that says "I cant wait till hitting" or "In a few years he will be a stud". Maybe he had a chance in the 90s as an enforcer. But the game is played much differently. Some small guys may be relevant after u15. Until then shaddap BE. Your kid had 5 goals last year and hes stinkin up Bolzano from what I can see. Go stuff a gelato down your big fat mouth Brad!

That kid is more of a man than you will ever be! It must drive you crazy to have to look up to an 11 year old. Here is a genetics lesson for you, 11 years old, and he is already taller than you. Imagine when he starts to grow....6'5" to 6'7". Coaches/scouts love size, and I hate to break it to you, but size matters (yes, your wife has been lying to you). 5 goals don't mean shit, he's just getting started.
Genetics matter. His dad is 6' on his best day. Mom is wider than she is tall. No way the kid is 6'%', he's just growing early and will be done by the end of grade 9.
Production matters. 5 goals in 30+ games and bad skating won't be overlooked. Being a total p@ssy in the corners and in puck battles won't be overlooked.
It's crazy that people of shy, non aggressive kids think that one day their son will wake up to be a beast. Won't happen. This kid is a pussycat, not a tiger. You lose asshole.

Struck a nerve...this must be a small man from TRW. Bad mouthing ex players and parents. How did your recruiting go? Let's see, not well. A bunch of tiny talent, underagers, double A players....yes, you're right you win but just not next year. Make your wife a sangwich and shaddup. Everyone wishes their kid had projectable size, read your post again, more excuses than the PC party after they got Carneyed
