But she is not so “great”. To be blunt, the team played much better without her.
Sure, MM.
She didn’t play because you’ve crushed her spirit, No names, like you have done with most of your players. Her parents, your former friends - MM- are absolutely disgusted with your coaching, so they pulled their girl pre OHF. Your kid, No names, cost your team a number of goals this weekend. He’s 13. Do you not feel absolutely mortified for him? Is it fair that amazing AA players have to hold him up? At what point do you stop and say, “my giant ego and neeed for power is hurting my child”? He looks like he’s blindly sweeping the floor with a broom every shift. Hes going to get hurt next year. For the love of God and your child, step down. It’s awful. So obvious and pathetic.
TT “isnt that great” but “LM” deserves a regular shift on the ice in a AA GAME???!!! What a joke. The U13AA Tigers, playing any shift with LM is playing a shift short handed. How dare anyone who supports MM knock a kid on that team. Do you all seeeee how messed up this is?!!! Stay away!
The 12 year old “TT” is better than at least one of MMs U16 kids. This is all so messed up. AMHA AND PARENTS - wake up.
Ok hold on there mom… TT is not better than any U16 player, give your head a shake. Let’s be very blunt, she’s a decent player on a team full of mid level players. What’s she going to do next year?? Play contact and get destroyed? That being said, I would pick her any day over LM, but he’s barely an A level player. Scared of the puck, throws it away whenever he has it, never goes in corners, the list goes on. Yes MM probably crushed her spirit like he does everyone else, but be realistic of your child’s skill level.
Clearly you’ve never seen his one daughter play. It’s bad. There’s a reason she’s quit now. Getting deals on teams she doesn’t belong on for years because of the better twin. Better but still not good. Whole family can’t get behind there actual skills levels. Poor kids.

This weekend proved that the team has solid potential with proper coaching. If a new coach comes in and all but one player returns, Aurora U14AA could be a strong contender next season. Unfortunately, the egos of both MM and AMHA may prevent the right decisions from being made.

April has proven the direction AMHA is going is the right one. Massive playoff success with our rep teams and multiple championships to show for it. Our U13AA showed they can not only compete in OHFs but win games. Our house league/select programs are strong with participation and development setting up for even stronger participation and talent for next season. It is time for the banquet to celebrate these championships across the AMHA and onto tryouts as we look to put together teams to win OHF Championships in 2025-2026.

Hi 2012 parents, AMHA here. Just wanted to start by saying that Michael has a heart of gold. He’s made the generous decision that his wonderful son won’t be playing on the U14 AA team next season so that he can step in as a non-parent coach. You may see his son participating in tryouts, but it’s only for some extra ice time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at tryouts!

I call B U L L S H I T
Please tell me something, this believed heart of gold you say he has, does ruining hockey for a team full of kids, qualify for such a accreditation? This man does not have a heart of gold, he cares only about himself. He has ruined hockey for dozens of young boys, and if you look at the last story, it would seem he's ruined hockey for a young lady as well. Yep heart of gold. You're an effen clown, your association is run by clowns, and the fact that the majority of his players don't want to return tell me MM is a clown too.

Very generous indeed. Cutting his own kid so that he can become a non-parent, PAID coach.. yep so generous. His poor kid now has to walk around with the stigma of being cut by his own dad. What a circus.

Generous would be stepping down as coach, PERIOD.

AMHA- an entire team full of kids is on its way out because they feel mistreated and limited, abused even - and you continue to post your tone deaf BS… just shut it already.
