Why would you need to raise over 50000$ to go to a Canadian tournament? Other than flights what’s the difference from any other tournament?. Sounds like the coach is up to something for sure.

So no difference than any tournament you book a bus for. No fundraiser ever needed for these.
But wait! This team has a crooked broke coach with a team full of desperate suckers that have been promised the moon! At least coach broke will finally get to pay off the impala!

It is a week long so add in rooms, food, likely a bus to travel from rink to hotel (2k a day) for 17 players as well as practice ice, coache staff overall costs ....

So theres 10k max. Practice ice is free.

Looks like 40000 isnt enough to buy a win.
Tourney half way done and emc has 2 losses and a win. And the only win was barely won against the worst team in the tournament Lol! Looks like coach fat head coaches his team like he coached his son - to be a hockey loser!

Dude you need to either get a hobby or seek professional help. To dislike someone is ok. To cheer for a 20 kids to fail...that is a whole different level of being messed up. Chances are your beef is the fact he did not select your kid. Time to let it go and move on. It's ok ....your kid will turn out to be ok even though he did not play AAA Midget for EMC.

Many many people “dislike” this guy.
Hes a known liar and predator.
Hes been through all levels of hockey and has learned all the dirty tricks and uses them regularly on children.
He has purposely destroyed many young players opportunities. Absolutely no place for this in minor hockey. If you pick a minor hockey team you have an obligation to develop and play these kids - he only cares about 5 members of his team.
He is not here because he cares about developing kids - he is here for a pay check. How is it a minor hockey coach is paid over 20000$?? No other coaches at any level in sw ontario gets this. Says all you need to know about him.

There's something called "open borders". If you don't like it, go play in London or Sarnia. Simple.
