It’s this and it happening at every age, just watch how many kids “show up” late in tryouts and make the team, what a surprise!! Every Elgin team is made. Coaches have been recruiting for months, the amount of tampering and backdooring that is going on as young as 2016 should be eye opening. Any board has good and bad members but their actions dont directly affect players - the coaches do.- Elgins last 2 coach mentors picked friends and family to coach - without any regard to the coach’s ability or reputation. They filled emc with some despicable coaches. These coaches seem to take joy in tormenting children. People dont forget when youve gone out of your way to damage their kids.

It is a week long so add in rooms, food, likely a bus to travel from rink to hotel (2k a day) for 17 players as well as practice ice, coache staff overall costs ....

Tourney half way done and emc has 2 losses and a win. And the only win was barely won against the worst team in the tournament Lol! Looks like coach fat head coaches his team like he coached his son - to be a hockey loser!
