Here are the facts:
All Teams Record 23/24 Season: 345-536-105 (39% win %)
All Teams Record 24/25 Season: 188-208-46 (47.5% win %)
Up in all important metrics including fundraising, community involvement, registration. volunteers.
Bottom line, on the right trajectory.
Cleaned it up a bit for you:
Removed tournaments & exhibition games.
Regular season records so far this year:
AA = 34-68-11 (35.0% win %)
A = 34-57-13 (38.9% win %)
B/BB = 60-32-9 (63.9% win %)
Yikes, nice work around data above. Is Aurora moving into a BB/B centre? Basically, surviving on kids dropping from AA/A to win games/tournaments? This is not development and very much 'cheats' the system.
Yes, BB is the highest form of competitive hockey that any child should be playing. Kids who are able to play at a super high level of any sport should really be asking their parents to look in the mirror. That’s like telling your child you have the expectation they will go to university and become something like a lawyer, a doctor or god forbid a business owner. We need to show our players it’s ok to be a B player, and to enjoy a simple happy life. This is the way. Too much ice time and excessive coaching in hockey is toxic.

With open borders is AMHA expecting a full contingent of AA/A/BB teams next season? I would think lots of opportunity to recruit from Newmarket, RH etc. The question is .. can AMHA add teams or is there a 'freeze' on the number of teams to this year given Open Borders.

If a coach with a poor reputation is appointed, it’s likely the team will disband.

Unfortunately grease stains from fast food and melting ice cream are difficult to get out.
