Is this normal? Any other kids this age this good? Will kids this advanced this young fizzle out? Anyone else have any kids at 5 lifting weights? Not sure what to make of this.

This guy is a mess. The caption in his latest video says it all.
Prodigy - I mean most leave making statements about someone or some up incoming athlete to experts. You know people who have been involved such discipline at the highest levels for years.
But this tool is taking it apon himself to proclaim his own kid a prodigy.
Hell if that's the case my kids can wipe their own ass#s. So.... Welp you guessed it - PRODIGIES

Most of us know that he won't put his kid up against other top kids in this age group.
So why not take the game to him and start showing up at the open ice sessions that he goes to and start wheelin around him.
Bet he packs his kid up and leaves.
The only problem is that we'd have to take a day off from work and kids out of school.
It not an issue for this clown as he is a bum who doesn't work and he doesn't have his kid in school.

Just an observation but it seems there are many people with an obsession. Imagine having so few good things in your life that you felt the need to trash a 6 year old. Yikes.

I just came from watching a very happy and enthusiastic family including 2 kids on the ice. The prodigy is REAL he's TALENTED and he's very well adjusted.
If you need to be making fun of a talented child who has devoted parents you are the problem not them.
Rant over by a non family observer.

This is only embarrassing to a person that has lazy and unmotivated children. It's embarrassing to see actual people speaking this way in a forum. The problem isn't the parents.

You have no credibility until you put your son on the ice with elite kids his own age. Bulldogs, Pro Hockey, whatever, there are plenty of elite teams. There is no legit reason not to do that other than the obvious, that you know he'll get owned out there. Nobody believes the solo sped up videos. Just sayin'. If skating alone and not playing the game against others determined how good of a hockey player you were, we'd all be celebrating Kurt Browning instead of Wayne Gretzky.
