Markham Waxers will be a disaster. Completely agree. They should not have a AAA team. Just keep one. Either Majors or Waxers. In Markham nobody really plays competitive hockey. They are really bad most years and this year will be worst. Open borders the few that are AAA will be leaving. It’s a joke for anyone to think Waxers are AAA. They have no idea what the other teams feeding from KSL is gonna do to this team. The few Stouffville kids good luck.

To be fair, 2015 Waxers AAA is really good.

Guest wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:07 pm Help complete the list below of feeder teams into each OMHA team, i'll start with a few in west:

-Niagara North Stars - Old Niagara Outlaws KSL team along with some loca Niagara kids, will be a strong team.
-Credit River Capitals - Non-parent coach pulling from local KSL teams and strongest MD kids in Orangeville and Brampton.
-Guelph Gryphons - Bringing in some strong outsiders from Milton area along with local Guelph/Tri-City kids.
-Grey-Bruce Highlanders
-Oakville Rangers - About half of the existing MD team along with some outside talent from Oakville's good programming and open borders.
-Burlington Eagles - Primarily existing MD team along with some improvements. Losing some players to Halton Hurricanes.
-Halton Hurricanes - Core of the Mississauga Stars T2 team, along with some local Milton MD kids.
-Hamilton Steel - Core of the Hamilton Ironmen T1 from KSL, along with some T2 and local MD kids
-Southern Tier Admirals

EAST TEAMS:

-Whitby Wildcats
-York-Simcoe Express
-Quinte Red Devils
-North Shore Whitecaps
-Peterborough Petes
-Markham Waxers
-Ajax-Pickering Raiders
-Barrie Jr Colts
-Central Ontario Wolves
-Greater Kingston Jr Gaels
North Central Predators
Markham Waxers will not win a game all year. They may not get a shot on net until the second half of the season. Do they even have a coach yet? Most double A teams and strong A teams will be a better spot.
Take it easy on Markham Waxers , they are behind the 8 ball, 95 percent of AAA teams had their team picked in the winter, Waxers coach found out in February he was getting the team. He knows his hockey and will do everything in his power to build and coach a successful team. Why hate on someone volunteering their time? SMH

Word is the coach already has a 15 game suspension, hope he can do everything in his power from the sidelines.

15 games and a $5000 to Markham. I wonder when the coach will let his new parent group know.

Heard Barrie Colts AAA will be taking a maximum of 5 Klevr kids per year going forward. Is this true?

Any other organization that is limiting Klevr players? So far, the only confirmed one is Oakville Rangers.

How was Rangers tryout ? Were they able to attract any non-Oakville elite kids ?

-Ajax-Pickering Raiders: Jr . wings, some Mustangs
-Barrie Jr Colts: T2 Cobras, and Barrie MD
-Central Ontario Wolves: Kawartha Cunucks, Clarington Redwings and a few MD kids

North Central Predators: no one cares.

Most teams signed after day 1 tryouts? Open borders made the process super quick for most. Surprising how many goalies there are at most tryouts

Which teams have space?
