Confirmed satire. Lmao at taking a loan out for a 10 year old hockey tournament.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:29 amIt’s only for kids ready to play at top level hockey. Pay the money, take a loan do it if your kid is very Elite. It’s simple , if your player is good he will play Brick and make it. If he isn’t keep the money and don’t waste it.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 9:45 amThis has to be satire.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 8:32 am If your kid wants to go pro play Brick Hockey to give him the best chance. Maybe lots of kids not yet ready to play for the Brick. House league is one option but best option for high chance making the NhL is Brick. Hockey should be fun and not stress.

Dude, How else are you going to come up with $10K on the spot? The reality is 90%+ of families are on a 'budget'. There is not a surplus of funds in any month to go to a vacation, dinner out, clothes etc. How else will a family pay for it, if it is not a loan? Get your head out of the sand.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 12:25 pmThe above was humorous but the reality is probably many doing it.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:41 amConfirmed satire. I have a wild idea. Now stay with me on this. But my idea is to not spend the money on it. Because it's dumb.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 1:07 pmDude, How else are you going to come up with $10K on the spot? The reality is 90%+ of families are on a 'budget'. Re: Brick 2025
Credit to the kids who make it, it’ll be a tough age group to crack. Some good players are going to get left out. Credit to the parents who can make it work. Spend your time and money how you want.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 1:27 pmI have a wild idea. Now stay with me on this. But my idea is to not spend the money on it. Your kids will also be fine if they don’t make it but continue to put in work and develop. Not controversial, it’s just the truth.
Re: Brick 2025
This thread goes in circles. We all need to minimize costs for events like the Brick. Thus, the need for more 'volunteers', more 'sponsorships' but more importantly, a complete audit on all expenses related to the event. Is there a way to get cheaper practice ice, ensure event is not for profit, coaches covered with expenses only (no profit), less swag. You get it.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 2:01 pm How much debt are people really taking on then

The King of the Rings is pretty darn close to the level of the Brick. And it somehow costs less than $200 a player.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 3:58 pmThis thread goes in circles.
